KAUSHLESH "GARRY" PUROHIT

Kaushlesh “Garry” Purohit is a Los Angeles based Recording, Mixing and Mastering Engineer with a decade of experience in the music business working with the top artists in the USA. An audio engineering graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Garry moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and started working at Rick Rubin's Shangri La Studio in Malibu. With a Grammy nomination and 4 platinum records, Garry has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Harry Styles, Kendrik Lamar, Shawn Mendes, Carlos Santana, Coldplay, Sounwave, Chad Hugo, David Crosby, Jackson Browne, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Kae Tempest, Run The Jewels and many more. In addition he has mixed multiple projects for Disney‘s television programing and live music videos for Berklee’s Youtube channel that have amassed over 100 million views. 

 

With his unique experience, Garry is an expert in mixing and mastering a range of styles like orchestral music, live shows and pop/hip-hop studio records. He also excels at essential tasks such as vocal tuning, time aligning, noise removal and audio restoration.

 

His broad skillset is easily applicable to any type of music. He works with Pro Tools and provides a detailed mix preparation guide to help prepare a song for mixing.
